Food Allergy Policy
• We use pictograms to identify the eight allergens subject to mandatory labeling: eggs, milk, wheat, shrimp, crab, peanuts, buckwheat, and walnuts.
• Labeling is not mandatory for the other 20 allergens, and accurate information may not always be available from our suppliers. As a general rule, we therefore disclose information only for the eight allergens subject to mandatory labeling.
• Our kitchens routinely handle foods and ingredients containing these eight allergens, as well as other allergens that are not indicated. The same cooking utensils and cooking oil are used when preparing different foods.
Although tableware and cooking utensils are thoroughly washed, trace amounts of allergens may still enter dishes due to the kitchen environment.
We therefore cannot provide meals that are completely free of allergens.
• At the buffet, tongs and tableware are shared across multiple dishes, including dishes containing allergens.
Please also be aware that cross-contact may occur when guests use the same tongs for multiple dishes, or when food containing allergens comes into contact with other tongs or tableware.
• If you require guaranteed allergen removal or are concerned about cross-contact through cooking utensils or other equipment, we may have no choice but to decline meal service in the interest of your safety.
For food hygiene reasons, guests may bring in store-bought food, but not food prepared at home. Please also bring any tableware you will need, such as paper plates.
(You must contact the hotel in advance if you wish to bring in food.)
• Please review the information above and decide whether to dine with us at your own discretion.
